I consider cooperation between artistic personalities a crucial principle to create a live performance. The result is a blend of points of view which gives the creation fullness and identity.
In this environment I am attracted by the expressionist use of light and I am pushed to go beyond its merely functional purpose. I research colours, shapes, directions, qualities that design, depict an idea and accompany the spectator's perception. I like working in unconventional situations, inventing spaces, adapting creations to different places, always looking for a new consistency for the work and for its inspiring principles.

EXPERIENCE
I always crossed the entertainment Lighting design with the activity of stage technician
I try to learn and to practically experiment as much as I can
In 2006/07 I attended the course for Stage technician at Scuola d'Arte Drammatica Paolo Grassi in Milan
I worked there the next year and in many other venues in Italy for the next six years
I designed the lighting for different genres of shows
In 2015/16 I occasionally worked as a constructor for international film productions in Antwerp
In 2016 I shadowed the Lighting designer Fabiana Piccioli on dance and opera projects around Europe
I'm co-founder of operabianca, artistic and theatrical collective active in 2017/18
I've been chief lighting technician at Triennale Milano Teatro from September 2019 to December 2022
I currently teach lighting design at NABA academy in Milan and I'm the technical director of Spacca dance company, Minima Theatralia and Festival Giardino delle Esperidi
